Cultural Autumn 文化の秋（ぶんかのあき）

土曜日に友達とロンドンでお芝居を見ました。お芝居の前にラーメンを食べました。楽しかったです。 イギリスの夏が終わりました。今は秋です。秋は文化を楽しみたいです。私は今月、美術館に行きました。そして、シアターに2回、演劇を見に行きました。 来月はバレエを見に行きます。バレエを見るのは久しぶりだから、楽しみです。 秋に文化を楽しむという意味で、文化の秋という言葉があります。何々の秋という言葉は他にもいろいろあります。例えば、読書の秋。本を楽しむ秋です。芸術の秋。美術館に行ったり、絵を描いたりして、アートを楽しみます。音楽の秋や、スポーツの秋もあります。何々の春、や何々の夏という言葉はあまり聞きません。秋は涼しくなってアクティブ、クリエイティブなことがしたい季節だから、特別なんです。そして、食欲の秋。お腹がすく秋という意味です。みなさんはどんな秋を楽しみますか。 I saw a play in London with friends on Saturday. We ate ramen noodles before the play. It was fun. Summer in England is over. Now it is autumn. I want to enjoy culture in autumn. I went to a museum this month. And I went to theatres twice to see plays. Next month I'm going to see the ballet. It's been a long time since I've seen a ballet, so I'm looking forward to it. The term ‘cultural autumn’ means enjoying culture in autumn. There are many other words for the autumn of something. For example, the autumn of reading. This is the autumn for enjoying books. Autumn of art. We enjoy art by going to museums, painting, and so on. There is also autumn of music and autumn of sports. We don't often hear the words ‘ something spring’ or ‘something summer’. Autumn is special because it's the season to be cool, active and creative. And autumn is the season of appetite. It means a hungry autumn. What kind of autumn do you enjoy?
