Culture Act, College Day Courses, Wegovy, Unsung Hero

Gibraltar is rich with culture! There is no shortage of art, music or theatre on the rock. Minister for Culture Christian Santos has been very busy recently, kicking off the year with a meeting with the Arts Advisory Council. He told us more about the meeting as well as the Culture Act.The Gibraltar College have launched new daytime courses. Aimed for adults who wish to obtain qualifications in key subjects such as English and Maths, it means that those who may find it difficult to attend evening classes due to work or family commitments. Christina Cortes told us more. Wegovy, is an anti-obesity drug. In July last year the British Heart Foundation said Wegovy was approved to help reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. We're speaking to Dr Alphonso Antequera about told us more about this new medication, and how it can change the way people lose weight.The countdown is on for the 2024 GBC Sports Awards - the annual event recognises and celebrates Gibraltar's sportsmen and women.
