There are many documents available that are designed to develop understanding along with legislation and guidance to support prevention.In other countries, there are coaches who spend hours each week with miners either one to one or in very small groups. Their current acceptable practice also includes the administering ‘hands-on treatment' for minor injuries such as muscle tightness.This high lights not only the differences but raises the question of whether we are being so restricted that we will arrive at a point where we can no longer fulfil our roles as effective coaches any longer.To be an influencer we must be able to educate, to change people's minds, to change their abilities and support them to be the best they can be.
