Culture Kids with 13 Year Old NFT Artist Teresa Melvin

from She's All Over the Place · host Adore Podcast Network

Teresa Melvin, a 13-year-old NFT artist. Her passion has always been making art; "it's how I draw, animate, and create stories with my two bubbly characters, AVA & Ramona. I observed the people around me, like my family, teachers, and friends, and drew them in my made-up stories when I was little." Two of her all-time favorite characters she created are Ava and Ramona. Ava loves donuts, and she is a go-getter! She created her when she was ten years old because she wanted a character that reflects her personality. Her best friend, Ramona, is a bold, confident, and very active person who is crazy about skateboarding. She chose to follow the beat of her own drum, and she was born a year later because she decided to make up a character she wanted to be like, and do things she's never done in her life! Teresa started her NFT journey in August of 2021. Her two characters and she was introduced to the great big world of NFTs. Since then, she sold 60+ artworks on Opensea, Foundation, and Wazirx marketplaces. Teresa is a Speaker at NFT NYC, Miami NFT Week, Sandeigo NFT Conference.   Her works are exhibited in Supermintnft LA 2022, Dubai Expo 2021, NFT.NYC 2021, Art Basel Miami 2021. She was awarded Epic Drop of the Week by Kids on the Blockchain magazine and was a youth artist winner from Give4Kidz. Her interviews are in some print magazines, and she's done some live interviews on Instagram & youtube.  Teresa can connect with many artists and art lovers through the language of art. So art has become an integral part of her life. She is a part of a fantastic art community led by NFT Kids Magazine. She got an excellent opportunity to design the logo for the magazine and she feels so proud to see that every time.  Her purpose as an artist is to create, learn, share, and inspire young artists to exhibit their talent.  Teresa Melvin NFTs & Socials  https://linktr.ee/teresamelvin We chat about: NFT art journey as a 13yr old kid Work process and her characters 1k Collection with her characters Ava & Ramona   Voiceover Reel: https://www.chonacas.com/voiceover/ Social media links: https://twitter.com/katiechonacas https://twitter.com/culturekidsxyz https://www.instagram.com/chonacas https://www.linkedin.com/in/katiechonacas
