Culture of Health: Deaths of Despair

The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated our mental health and well-being and additional deaths from drug or alcohol misuse and suicide could occur as a result of living though a pandemic. These are “deaths of despair” and they are rising due to the isolation and collective trauma we feel in our current environment of isolation and injustices. But there is hope. Our panelists in this episode will discuss how we can cope and be well in today’s changing culture.
