CUM 3.08: Kiss me, Kate

Volvemos con un musical de Cole Porter, "KISS ME, KATE". Tenemos una obra de teatro dentro de otra obra de teatro, en este caso "La fierecilla domada" de Shakespeare con un divertido argumento que juega con la lucha de sexos y nos habla del sometimiento de la mujer a su marido y de cómo este tiene que domesticarla. Shakespeare la escribió en 1590 y Cole Porter estrenó el musical en 1948. Hoy 70 años más tarde el machismo de algunas frases y situaciones nos rechinan, pero entiendo que hay que verlas con humor, agradeciendo al feminismo su constancia para lograr la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres. En fin, ver como fuimos y cómo somos hoy.
