Cup and Chair

In this episode, our magic bag of sounds has placed us in a cafe with Archie and his mum. It is very wet outside and Archie and his mum can get warm and dry in the cafe, plus there are new sounds to hear! Can you spot them? We link each sound with words to help develop your little one's vocabulary and engagement with the world around them. Brought to you by Small Wardour, makers of award-winning podcasts for kids. Sing along with Lucy for the Cup and Chair song, lyrics below. Verse 1 Today we’re going to the cafe For a drink on a rainy day The scrape of our chairs as we take a seat We order our drinks and get something to eat The cups clink together, we’re warm and dry The rain is still filling the sky Verse 2 Listen close to what we have heard For every sound we learn a new word Quiet ones, noisy ones, whistles and clangs Booming and whispering, crashes and bangs Our sound adventure has just begun Let’s listen and learn everyone.
