Cup of Mets: Episode Twelve

Cup of Mets is a weekly podcast dedicated to New York Mets baseball where we offer analysis, opinion along with some occasional banter. Here in Episode 12 I'll be transparent, we aren't pleased. The Mets were eliminated by the San Diego Padres in the Wild Card Series this past weekend, officially ending their 2022 101 win campaign. We discuss what went wrong in their brief playoff stint, Scherzer and Bassitts' nightmarish starts, DeGrom's solid outing and the carrying over of the poor offensive approach from the regular season to the postseason. We'd like to thank our listeners for tuning in all season long; obviously not the outcome we all hoped and expected for but at the end of the day we're Mets Fans...We'll see ya mid-November for our hot stove series.
