Curating Career Life Stories: How Did I Get Here? Ep. 19 with Brigitte Ades

from Curating Career Life Stories: How did I get here? · host Kathy Lawless

Listen to the career story reflections of Brigitte Ades, a serial entrepreneur who at the very young age of 11, knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur. She loved hanging around adult entrepreneurs like her dad and the polish lady who owned a beauty salon. Taking advantage of a trade school program her senior year in high school, she attends beauty school in the morning, her last few required HS classes in the afternoon, and works part time in the evening -- so she can open her own beauty salon just two days after graduating high school!  She attributes her success to “backwards thinking.” A mindset of always improving and being the best where you are versus thinking you need more of something.
