Adrian S. McNeal is an elder of The Word of God Community Church in Canton, Ohio. He's also a husband, father and nationally recognized fiber internet salesman whose passion for history stretches back to childhood. In eighth grade, for example, he borrowed Adolph Hitler's Mein Kampf from the local library and read the entire book. “I didn’t know any other African American eighth-graders who were reading that,” he says with a chuckle. In the first segment of today's Gale Hill Radio Hour, Adrian covers many topics, including the fact that history initially sparked his interest in Christianity and how, in time, his faith became stronger. Closing out the episode is an interview with Caroline Creidenberg, CEO of Wedfuly, which became the expert in virtual weddings during the pandemic. Caroline's segment begins at 33 minutes and 45 seconds.When Caroline founded the Denver-based company in June 2017,  her goal was to help ease the expense and stress of a traditional wedding, but it wasn't easy bucking expectations set by the wedding industry. All that changed in March 2020 as the country shut down and bridal events were canceled right and left. That's when Wedfuly really came into its own, collaborating with Zoom to give couples the leeway, along with expert tech support, to have a wedding their way.
