Curtis Hearst: Connecting Neighbors with Neighbors

This week on WKRP Montrose, we sit down with Curtis Hearst from Partners Mentoring, a non-profit community-based youth mentoring program that connects local kids with positive role models. With 65 kids already matched and another 40–50 still waiting, Curtis shares how they pair mentors and youth based on shared interests, teach valuable life skills, and provide experiences many kids wouldn’t otherwise have access to. He also talks about his own journey—from growing up in Pennsylvania to discovering a passion for recreation and eventually finding his way to college in Gunnison.
