Cutting Friends Off Because of Politics? - Episode #41
from Filipino Millennial Mindset · host Filipino Millennial Mindset
EPISODE 41. In this episode, I asked Philip to give his take on political views and terms being used in the U.S and Canada, and explain to me what they really mean and how they relate to the politics in the Philippines. (Hopefully) In the next episodes, we're going to focus more on discussing topics that actually better our mindsets. :) ⏰Timestamps:⏰ (1:35) Close friends cancelling each other because of political views (4:17) Feelings vs Facts (5:03) Why you should be aware of politics (8:01) Mas lalo dapat mag-usap yung mga disagree sa isa't-isa (11:24) Mas okay bang iwasan nalang ang topic na politics pag magkaiba kayo ng views? (18:43) Book smart versus street smart (23:01) The concept of "Welfare" by the government (27:19) How your environment shapes your thinking (32:55) Political Terminologies (44:24) Being ignorant about the bad things in life isn't good (48:47) Trauma versus experience (52:18) Experience is the best teacher (57:53) The bad thing about motivational videos (58:40) Politicians use your values against you Relax & listen. May feedback ka ba or suggestion?
