As a result, the threat posed by cyber-crimes is getting bigger than ever. With uncountable annual cyber-attacks, cyber-crime is a real threat to anyone using computers, smartphones, tablets, the internet of things, and other gadgets that are connected to the internet. The reality today is that every single day, either somebody’s identity is stolen, or someone’s confidential data is stolen, and the victim counts to financial and non-financial loss because of cyber-crime keeps growing and growing. Understandably, keeping up with the growing complexity of the nature of cyber-crimes is a challenge facing not only individuals and entities across nations: its government, industries, organizations, and academia (NGIOA) but also the legal community.
