Cycling the Raid Pyrenees: Chloe Sanderson & Mary Thornton

In this episode I speak with Chloe Sanderson & Mary Thornton who recently bicycle toured coast to coast on the Raid Pyrenees route.  This cycle tour would see them leave the shores of the Atlantic, Ocean to cross the entire Pyrenees mountain range until reaching the Mediterranean Sea.  I met Chloe and Mary whilst they were part-way through this challenge - we swapped details five kms from the top of  the Col du Tourmalet and agreed to get together afterwards to see how it all went for them.  During this episode we spoke about what it was like each day dealing with mountain pass after mountain pass, as well as biblical thunderstorms whilst partway up the Col d'Aubisque.   Mary and Chloe also shared what it was like to be immersed in the Pyrenees landscape for 9 days.
