Cyclocross Social Podcast: UCI Worldcup Fayetteville preview (Episode 12)

from Cyclocross Social Podcast · host Noah van Putten

The cyclocross social podcast is back for the 2021-22 cyclocross season! In this episode Noah and Issam take a look ahead at the second round of the UCI Worldcup in Fayetteville Arkansas! The first part of the podcast goed in on the parcours, and the predicted rainy weather. That combination could lead to a very tough race, as the parcours has plenty of climbing. Will this race be more of the same as what we saw in Waterloo? Or can Aerts and Hermans recover from their crashes and compete for the win with Iserbyt? And what about some strong outsiders such as Vanthourenhout and Vandeputte, what can they do? The womens race also looks to be an open battle. Can Vos strike again, or will Brand and Betsema be able to beat her? And obviously MTB starts Neff, Vas and Lecher cant be forgotten. Finally, this podcast also gives some extra information on what went down in Waterloo, because over the night some additional information became available to us.
