Cynthia James with Erica Teel- Education is improvised!

Erica Teel is a multifaceted teacher, entertainer, and spiritual facilitator. She has been a student, instructor, and performer of improvisational comedy for over 15 years. She received her initiation into this art form in a workshop led by acclaimed actor, Alan Arkin. She embraced his recommendation that she pursue her natural potential in this challenging yet delightful arena. Additionally, Erica has devoted herself to spiritual development for most of her adult life. She has been a licensed spiritual practitioner since 2004, assisting seekers in discovering their true nature and finding inner confidence and peace. She is passionate about her meditation and prayer practices and loves to draw inspiration from a variety of spiritual teachers and paths. Erica has bridged her love of improv and spirituality by teaching her students transformational life lessons at the heart of improvisational exercises and games. She has cofounded the training company, Improv LEAP, which takes the bonding and communication power of improv into businesses and organizations, both for-profit and non-profit. Erica has been happily married to her husband, Roger, since 1988. She is the mother of two adult sons and delights in her five grandchildren. She enjoys family gatherings, movies, dancing, strumming her ukulele, laughing, and dating her amazing husband
