She’s a singer and songwriter who received aMaster’s of Music in Voice & Opera, and a Bachelor’s of Music in Voice & Performance. Asouthern woman born and raised in Alabama, Valencia has dominated several world-classstages including Charleston Gaillard Center, Jemison Concert Hall and the prestigiousCarnegie Hall; as well as international stages as a soloist for the UAB Concert Choir Europeantour in 2014.Awards received by Valencia include the Metropolitan Opera National Council EncouragementAward, South Carolina District, and International Experience Award, Italian LanguageScholarship.
