Cyril Chavis Jr. is the founder and CEO of Hidase Publishing, a Black-owned publisher creating Christian content for the African diaspora and continent. Rev. Chavis is also an ordained pastor who currently serves college students through Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). He served the RUF chapter at Jackson State 2014-2019 and since then has been serving the RUF chapter at Howard University. Rev. Chavis graduated from the University of Virginia earning a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies ('13) and graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson earning a Master of Divinity with a biblical exegesis emphasis ('17). Cyril is happily married to Jenell, and they live in Washington, DC with their three children.
