D-Backs Designate Thomas, Bring Up Waldschmidt

The Arizona Diamondbacks have designated outfielder Alek Thomas for assignment, making room for top prospect Ryan Waldschmidt. Thomas, despite his elite defense and speed, struggled offensively, hitting just .181 with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. The move comes after a tough stretch for the team, signaling a shift towards fresh talent in the competitive National League race. Waldschmidt, currently dominating in Triple-A Reno, is expected to provide an offensive boost and steady center field. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
