D66-Kamerlid: Belastingdienst moet duidelijk signaal afgeven wanneer inkomen is geschat

Uit onderzoek van de Inspectie Belastingen, Toeslagen en Douane (IBTD) blijkt dat het inkomen van mensen die geen aangifte hebben gedaan in veel gevallen te hoog wordt ingeschat. Wanneer deze mensen later hun aangifte doen, neemt het bedrag in 90 procent van de gevallen af - en met een gemiddeld bedrag van ongeveer 9.000 euro. Tweede Kamerlid en woordvoerder financiën Henk-Jan Oosterhuis (D66) vindt dat andere instanties, zoals de Dienst Toeslagen, inzicht moeten krijgen in wanneer het om een geschat inkomen gaat.
