I read from deplore to deportable.     Why does my brain shut down when reading things like this article about "Deponent verbs"? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deponent_verb     I thought that the etymology said that the Latin verb "populari" means "to ravage" but it turns out I was wrong!
