DA goes to court over Trollip's removal

SAfm — The DA says voters will not forget that their wishes for change have been undermined by the new coalition that took over yesterday. Athol Trollip was outsted as the mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro after opposition parties that include the EFF, the UDM and the ANC voted him out. A DA councillor who abstained during the vote has had his membership terminated by the party. The coalition has been shaky since the local government elections in 2016. DA leader Mmusi Maimane says they will be going to court to challenge the process that led to Trollip's removal.
