nterview| There will be a national protest movement around South Africa to demand the continuation of the current R350 grant this Freedom Day, 27 April 2021. #PayTheGrants are demanding that government continue the grants indefinitely and will be taking up national protest around the country.The inception of the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant in May 2020 to help with hunger relief was the first of its kind in the history of South Africa.
