Daejon Love: Fake 49er, celebrating Jalen Brunson's birthday, From Summer to September (9/2/26, Hour 1)

from The Recess Bell · host Joshua Umahi - The Recess Bell

Audio from Hour 1 of September 2, 2026's episode of 'The Recess Bell: On Air', airing live every Wednesday from 6-8pm on 90.3 WHPC-FM. Joshua, Kory and Lay discuss "scamming culture" in the air with not only Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers getting punished by the NBA due to cap circumvention violations, but also with the most ridiculous romance scam we've seen in some time: Daejon Love and his 18-year-old co-conspirator in swindling dozens of women out of over a million dollars by Love's pretending to be a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver. Call it the "Wide Deceiver" scandal. Also, Joshua couldn't let the opportunity pass to celebrate Jalen "Captain Clutch" Brunson's birthday as a holiday on TRB. And when does summer actually end? Labor Day or the 21st?
