He also catches up with the next generation of breeders at Esker Farm where Dave Hardy and his wife Julie have taken on the challenge to breed award winning varieties. Reg Maxwell joins David in studio to talk about jobs in the Spring garden including choosing bedding plants. Also in the programme - Helen Mark finds out all about Alpines from Gordon Toner.
