 Luke 1:5–25Today we read about Zechariah and Elizabeth, a faithful couple who had prayed for a child but had grown old without one.While Zechariah serves in the temple, an angel announces that Elizabeth will give birth to a son who will prepare the way for the Lord.This passage reminds us that God’s promises are not limited by time or circumstances. Even when hope feels distant, God is still able to fulfill His word.
