Even when individual names seem obscure, each life contributes to God’s unfolding plan. Faithfulness in the ordinary is never wasted in God’s economy.In Acts 17, Paul proclaims the gospel in different cultural settings. In Berea, the people are commended for examining the Scriptures daily—modeling a thoughtful, active faith. In Athens, Paul engages a culture full of competing ideas, pointing them to the one true God and calling them to repentance through Jesus Christ. The responses vary—some reject, some question, and some believe—revealing that truth always demands a response.
