What was needed was a new heart altogether, and that is exactly why Jesus had to come. He gives faith itself as a gift, created and sustained by His Word and Spirit rather than earned through evidence. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, not manufactured by us but given freely through His finished work. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper He continues to strengthen that gift of faith, giving His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.Do not trust in evidence to save you.
