Every time God withheld judgment in the wilderness, He was preparing the way for the day His own Son would carry that judgment fully, once and for all. There we find true grace, forgiveness, and salvation, secured through His finished work rather than our unsteady hearts. Through His redemption we are welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, and in the Lord's Supper that same atonement comes to us again, His true body and blood given for the forgiveness of sins.When you feel the weight of your own unsteady heart, remember this compassion.
