Welcome to Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for September 10, 2025. Today’s devotion, “He Drew Me Out of Many Waters” (Psalm 18:16–19, ESV), shows the Lord’s personal rescue of His servant. David, overwhelmed by enemies too mighty for him, confesses his weakness and testifies that God alone was his support. The Lord reached down, drew him out of danger, and brought him into a “broad place” of safety, freedom, and peace. This picture points us to Christ, who endured the waters of death, defeated sin and Satan, and was raised in victory. Through His resurrection—and given to us in Holy Baptism—God draws us out of the flood and sets us free. Be encouraged today: the Lord rescues, sustains, and delights in His children.
