Daily Devotional - II Chronicles 30:1-27 - Hezekiah Keeps The Passover & The Reforms of Hezekiah

He sends couriers throughout the land, urging the people to return to the Lord and participate in the festival. Despite some initial ridicule, many people from various tribes humble themselves and come to Jerusalem. The assembly celebrates the Passover with great joy, offering sacrifices and seeking the Lord. Hezekiah prays for the people, asking for God's pardon for those who are not ceremonially clean but have set their hearts on seeking God. God hears Hezekiah's prayer and heals the people. The chapter concludes with a week-long festival that is extended for an additional seven days due to the overwhelming joy and unity among the participants.
