Point Made Centrepoint A podcast from Centrepoint. Co-created by young people for ALL people.Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. At Centrepoint, we believe no young person’s life should be defined by homelessness. We give young people the support they need to heal and grow, no matter what. For over fifty years we've been the centre point for change, personal and political. Everyone has their part to play, with young people leading the way. This Podcast has been created by young people with lived experience of homelessness. We’ll be shining a spotlight on some of the issues that affect us. We hope to challenge and change some of the stereotypes and bring others with us as part of a movement to end youth homelessness for good. Music produced by Harry Speight, a young person, supported by Centrepoint. The CP.Y Podcast Centrepoint Youth Welcome to #CPY21days! Join us as we read through the book of John over the next 21 days. Counterpoint with Eddie Hobbs Eddie Hobbs Counterpoint searches for wisdom from among dissenters.Critical thinkers have a latent love for plain speaking in open debates that do not flinch before sacred cows especially true of Irish audiences. Expect Counterpoint interviews to be curious, challenging, and dissenting across global themes, in the common search for authenticity and truth, beyond the footprints of groupthink. Eddie Hobbs is known for his blockbuster TV series Rip Off Republic which set audience records for Irish TV when his humourous polemic forensically challenged the Irish Government on how the State was 'eating its young'. It was a harbinger of the Irish crash. Since 2020, Hobbs has consistently called out the Irish 4th Estate for deserting the Irish people, for not challenging State policies on COVID. He also called out the Irish President for failing in his duty to use the Constitution to protect the people from vaccine passports.
