2 Chronicles 31:10 (NLT) – “Since the people began bringing their gifts to the Lord’s Temple, we have had enough to eat and plenty to spare. The Lord has blessed his people, and all this is left over.”   In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall explores the biblical principle of abundance that occurs when God's people respond generously to His Word. Using the account of King Hezekiah, he describes how the faithful bringing of tithes and offerings resulted in great heaps of surplus, proving that God provides more than enough for His work and His people.   Pastor Sumrall explains that abundance in a local church is not the result of manipulation or fundraisers, but is a direct reflection of God blessing His people. He encourages pastors to spend less time figuring out how to "get" money and more time praying for the people and teaching them to fear and follow God.
