Acts 16:4–5 (ESV) - “As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered to them for observance the decisions that had been reached by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem. So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall highlights the importance of doctrinal clarity in the growth and strength of the church. After false teachers had brought confusion and legalism to believers, Paul and his companions traveled from city to city sharing the decisions of the apostles and elders, providing clear biblical guidance and protecting the churches from error.
