Acts 15:24–25 (ESV) -“Since we have heard that some persons have gone out from us and troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions, it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall continues the story of how the early church addressed confusion caused by self-appointed teachers. These individuals claimed authority they did not possess and introduced teachings that troubled believers and created unnecessary burdens. The apostles responded decisively, making it clear that these men had not been sent by them and did not represent their message.
