Proverbs 29:25 (ESV) - “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall teaches about the danger of living with a fear of people. Solomon warns that fearing others becomes a trap, leading people to compromise their convictions, change their behavior to gain approval, and make decisions based on the opinions of others rather than the truth of God’s Word. Yet God never intended us to be controlled by the expectations of people. Instead, believers are called to place their trust in the Lord, finding security in His approval rather than the approval of others.
