Luke 22:67–69 (ESV) - “‘If you are the Christ, tell us.’ But he said to them, ‘If I tell you, you will not believe, and if I ask you, you will not answer. But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God.’” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall teaches how to respond wisely in moments of conflict. He explains that not every situation requires dialogue, especially when people have already closed their minds. Jesus recognized that some were unwilling to believe truth or engage honestly, and in those moments, silence can be the wisest response. Pastor Sumrall highlights two clear signs of a closed heart: when people refuse to believe what is said and when they are unwilling to answer honest questions.
