Daily Devotions: Remember - March 24, 2026

Deuteronomy 4:9 (ESV)- “Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall teaches the importance of remembering what God has done in our lives. Moses reminded Joshua and the people of Israel not to forget the victories, miracles, and encounters they had experienced, because remembering builds faith and removes fear. Pastor Sumrall explains that many struggles in life come when we forget how God has already provided, protected, and fought for us. When we remember His faithfulness, we face present and future challenges with confidence, knowing that God will do it again. Reflect on past encounters with God, hold on to those memories, and pass them on to the next generation. As we remember, our faith grows, our fear fades, and our respect for God remains strong.
