My name is Rollasis and this is your daily edge. Five years ago this week, my father passed away. It was all of a sudden, we're having dinner in Thanksgiving. He had a heart attack, and it was the last time that we saw him.
See, by that week, I remember having deep conversations with him. He actually saw every single one of his kids, every single one of his grandkids. And something about that week, it seemed as if he knew that something was going to happen. Ever since then, we don't take for granted the people that we have in the holidays because you never know who's gonna be there next year.
Life is too short for us to have grudges. Life is too short for us to withhold love. Life is too short for you to go on the leadership. So my intention for you today is to love your family.
Maybe there's a struggle that you're going through right now, but you're not talking to somebody for a long time now. It's time for you to heal those relations, especially the holidays, because everybody at least has a perspective of giving, of receiving. My father taught me that, you know, I promise tomorrow, you never know who's going to be around next holiday season. So take some time today and send a text that you've been holding on to reach out to the person.
I've talked to you a long time, reach out to the family member that maybe there were some discrepancies in there and you're holding pride and ego. It's time for you to let go. Life is too short for you to withhold love, to hold grudges. Because at the end of the day, the moment that you give freely, freely receive.
As we enter the holidays, just know that you're more than enough, that you have more than enough, that even if you receive, every people that want to give to you, just give freely because that's how you lead. Not by taking, by freely giving. Because nobody could take anything from you if you're freely willing to give. Because that's what he does do, by continuing to create a legacy, by healing relationships, by having the tough conversations.
