Daily Life is Our Spiritual Practice

Yay! We are kicking off a new series! Instead of keeping our attention on all the heaviness in the world, we are going to dsicover how we can go deeper into our Spiritual Awakening. We'll be diving into the work we can all do by speaking with a healer on Monday episodes, and a healing from them on Thursdays. My hope is that you'll have seveal healing modalities to practice yourself.   Today we speak with Sensei Alex Kakuyo. Sensei Alex Kakuyo is a Buddhist teacher and breathwork facilitator. A former Marine, he served in both Iraq and Afghanistan before finding the Dharma through a series of happy accidents.  Sensei Alex holds a B.A. in philosophy from Wabash College and his life's work is helping students bridge the gap between the finite and the infinite.  Sensei Alex is the author of Perfectly Ordinary: Buddhist Teachings for Everyday Life.     Sensei Alex and I are discussing how it's not about escaping by living in high vibration 24/7, but by living a life where we have a Spiritual Practice that we're able to use in our daily life while still taking action.    Friends, this is one of the most eye-opening interviews that I've ever done.
