They followed the star to where the humble infant was cradled in a manger. The wisemen then “bowed down and worshiped Him” (Matthew 2:11). Yet the religious leaders, who were not ignorant concerning the prophecy that declared the birthplace of the Messiah, refused to make the effort to go to Bethlehem to see for themselves.
