Wherever you go, wherever you find that God has put you — even if (and probably especially if) you can’t stand it, and you wonder why on Earth you have been put there — if you are a child of God and a disciple of Jesus Christ, be assured of this: GOD HAS PUT YOU THERE TO PRAY. God is looking for someone who is willing to suffer unpleasant and trying circumstances in the place you have been put, because the people in that place need someone who will pray for them. Whether you love or dislike your job, you are there because people need your prayers, and there may be no one else on the planet that is doing it on their behalf.
