Listen at home, commute, and work. These field recordings are from the Fengxian District in Shanghai, China. Mostly rural, new development is slowly creeping in. Recorded over the course of 1 year (2018/19), I left recorders overnight in rain or shine. Each visit I selected new and interesting locations to record. Hundreds of documented hours ensure each soundscape is unique.
