This is the Daily Update for Wednesday, March 16th. Hopefully, you're able to listen to this. So we're gonna go ahead and try to do this whole podcasting thing again with the website and the middle school, hopefully, and I'll hopefully allow me to upload this so I can actually get back on schedule with doing things because I know I've been, I was hoping to, you know, do this consistently, and then we haven't been doing it consistently, but it really has been my fault. Like I said, some of you I know I've talked to and heard, and I just sent out the update type of the other day and sent out to let people know that our internet down the middle school is not always that great in the afternoon.

A lot of kids on, we share one team, one line for the whole freaking district, which isn't the best for when there's a lot of kids using computer labs or facilities in the afternoons. Therefore, every time I try to upload something, it times out, kicks me out, yada, yada, yada. So there's my sad story for the day. But it is Wednesday.

It is hump day. I thought I'd throw a little, by the way, I was ransacked with the, with the Long Beach Dub All-Stars, I believe, playing a little I Wanna Ride Off The Music by Head soundtrack. There's a CD you guys probably bought about for a while, but got some more music on the iPod again over spring break last week. That was pretty nice.

Seeing some music from high school, some music from college, and also some newer music, some stuff I got from Tony. New Year's Eve, I finally got taken off of the portable hard drive and put onto the old iPod. And tell me, by the way, I plan to put the Heroes season two that are in high def on the iPod or on the hard drive. So what I think I'm gonna do, and the best way I can think about doing this is sending that hard drive back to you somehow whenever you stop by or I head down to visit.

And then you can go ahead and mess around with your, with your Nero and try to get those many HD DVDs done and see how that works. That's, that's my new idea. Congratulations to me. I'm a genius.

So anyways, got a big river to river race coming up next Saturday. That's the 80 mile relay race. There's eight of us doing it. Kevin, Monica, I, and some people that you guys don't know and I don't know as well.

And we go around about 10 miles throughout the day. But actually the race has been cut down a little bit because the first leg was destroyed by a mudslide. Apparently they've had some rain in Southern Illinois. I've heard about this at all.

And so the first part of the race is, the first 3 point some miles has been negated, which kind of blows because that was my, my, uh, my leg to run. So now I'm only gonna be able to run two legs. I've been, uh, I've been training so hard. I'm not really with it.

I've been training enough to be able to do the whole three legs of three, three or so miles. And now I'm cut down to one or two. So I guess it's good that I can run that far and I'm in shape, but it's kind of for not, maybe not for not, but it's for not as much, I guess you could say. So anyways, uh, that's going on Saturday.

So we're heading down there Friday night. I just saw a guy on a motorcycle, by the way, I'm very in three schools and there was a dog sitting behind him on the motorcycle with his head over the guy's shoulder. That is, I don't know if the dog is strapped in somehow, but I can imagine if he's not, that's highly not safe. Anyways, at least the guy had a helmet on.

The dog did not have a helmet, but the guy did. Um, so we're doing the, doing the race and then Saturday after the race, the guy we're all staying with Jeff, he has a hot tub and he has two kegerators, one of which has the same amount of spring wheat beer, which is excellent. And the other one has blue moon. So at least I'm gonna be, uh, I'm gonna be in pretty good, uh, pretty good spirits come Saturday night whether I run two legs or three legs because hot tub plus wheat beer is a good time.

I don't know if you guys know how the change of the property works, but it's in there somewhere. Change of the property is the best property. So last night did a little scholastic bowl action. I mean, the coach of the B team, we dominated Trinity Lutheran and uh Riverton.

Their B teams were not as good as ours. And uh our A team loses a lot. Our B team wins a lot. Uh the A team coach was the middle school band director who I teach with.

Seems to think it's because my coaching prowess is so high. I don't know if that's the case or not, but I'll take the compliment. Uh, baseball. We'll talk about baseball.

Cardinals are doing a lot better than anyone thought they would. Cubs are doing about okay. Soriano gets hurt again. So, so glad I didn't spend 30 some dollars on Soriano in the fantasy baseball league because I would be mad right now.

Almost as mad as spending $17 on Peter Moylan in the fab draft. That's neither here nor there right now. Uh looking ahead, we got, I got actually quite a bit of, quite a bit of stuff going on. That's going to interrupt the update uh schedule, which I'm sure all of you are not surprised.

But next week I know I've got one day I'll be out. The week after that I should get two days I'll be out of school. Not, not present to do updates. The week after that, one day again and then some other businesses going on where I don't know what's going to go on schedule.

It's that time of year where the end of the school year where uh things just don't go as they are usually planned schedule wise. Kind of rolled the punches and that's what, that's what I do best. I'm told. At least that's what my principal says and I'm not going to tell him differently because I think it's a compliment.

So, but the, uh, my trip to the middle school is about ended. I'm going to be beginning off here. Like I said, hopefully I can just put up, enjoy the daily update and enjoy the rest of I want to ride by Ransom. Have a good one everybody.
