This is the daily update for Thursday March 20th short week means Thursday is Friday So some of you may recognize that as a cool Phil Collins song But some of you also may recognize that off of real big fish's new album Another day in paradise being covered by mr. Mr. Aaron Barrett and the boys and it's fairly good The whole album overall is definitely going back to more like that turn the radio off very independently done You know they wrote produce did everything themselves, but I just can't say that I'm that into it I think my my scottace have developed and moved on to other bands like streetlight and big D But you know RBF is where it all started. Definitely.
So like I said in the intro today's the last day of the week Thursday It's Friday this week as far as I'm concerned and that means I get to wake up tomorrow whenever Hannah wakes us up Get to fix a nice little egg omelet put it on my English muffin have a nice cup of Starbucks coffee and Probably watch lost on the DVR. That's usually what we end up doing on Saturday So there's that lovely school bell that is not a bell. That's what we usually do on Saturday morning So, you know, it'll be it'll be nice and relaxing day tomorrow. Hopefully and good church tomorrow night Then Saturday we can Saturday morning do it all again.
It's uh, I'm really really looking forward to it as as I can say Just a couple comments. I'm going to go to the blog here just to make sure that I get this all correct For those of you that liked to point out to me that the Las Vegas is not a country I'm sure glad you did because I I I was totally confused there I thought they went ahead and succeeded and that They were like the country with their motto fun is fun and hookers is where it's at or something like that I don't know anyways what I meant to say is that keep Vegas is I can't remember what's they say wake longer in that city of this country than any other city in this country not the State wake longest in the world because that belonged to somewhere in Amsterdam So just to clear that up some other comments we had going through here Mike Stone says he does love fall out boy a lot And so does Eli check state fall out boy, and who knows what I do So, you know, I guess if you want to get any life pants just go ahead and throw in some fall out boy Choose to just like, you know, just totally do that Jade chimed in she's on her way to Washington DC her school Belmont is playing Duke in the Old March Madness And you know what Jade I just can't get that excited about college basketball I don't know I haven't haven't in college basketball at all this year probably the only game I watched is when I was watching you on the on ESPN 2 when Belmont was winning the their conference tourney to get that bid and the reason I turned on is because you said You're on TV, and I saw you in HD, so I guess that's pretty cool People stay awake longer in Vegas than any other country in America Of course people say wake in Vegas longer than any other city in America So, you know suck it suck it calm, you know, you know, let's take a little trip down memory lane of the daily update I'd have to say some of the some of the more funnier things that have happened in the daily update I would have to say the funniest would be sucking off Wednesdays by Aaron when I was over in Europe And he decided to go ahead and send that off to everyone's mom I wish I could get some of these older emails Tony I know that your email thing seems absolutely everything How about you look up and see if you can get a copy of second off Wednesdays, and maybe we can read some of the transcript Another one was after Mike and I had a very very long night of drinking We had the F your mama edition and That kind of got pretty ridiculous. That was that was when my first moved into the house I believe or right before Mike moved into the house I'm really not for sure, but that was pretty funny as well So like I said, I wanted to do some do some links and such But everything I've been looking at and trying to gain information on all has to do with fantasy baseball And I doubt many of you would be too too interested But John Patterson did just get released from the Washington Nationals So Bernie, if you in a hand drafted him, I'd probably go ahead and drop him Because I doubt he gets picked up anytime soon by anybody worth having them Probably the Marlins, Marlins would be my guess Yep, yep, yep, yep, so But I don't know, today we kind of took it easy High School Band did the practice for this whole Lincoln Memorial service That's going on April 27th where the will be playing for the president of the Czech Republic I don't know how popular he is, probably not quite as popular as Mr. Bush But the Czech Republic, I mean, to be able to have an audience and president of any country That's pretty amazing, even though it is an Eastern European country So that's pretty cool, so we're playing some period music from some songs from the Civil War era Then we're playing some Czechoslovakian, but I can't really say Czechoslovakian because Czechoslovakian is not a country So Czech Republic music, some folk songs and their national anthem So did that in band today, we got here for choir And the way a choir works is split up half the time with the band, half the time with the choir Well, the band teacher decided that we would go that she was going to give the kids a free day Being, you know, last day before, four day weekend and I doubt she really felt like doing too much And so we ended up watching E&E, which is the musical that the middle school was putting on A&E Junior Here, so we watched that because most of the choir kids are in the musical So that was kind of laid back and then now I'm just kind of been wasting time hoping that the four clockigators was classing will start, so it's classing won't get over, so I go home So anyways, I think about the wrap this up because we do have some kids coming in for a meeting It's just going to get loud enough, not just boring, someone's going to come and knock on the door and say, Hey, what's going on?
So anyways, I hope everyone will see, maybe Cindy and I can do a joint update tomorrow Or maybe I can get a phone call, have a guest on the update for tomorrow I do need some letters, I will respond to them, read them online, so on and so forth Tony, if you can get me some of the older updates that you may have saved that are kind of funny That would be kind of cool, and I guess we'll just kind of go from there So if I don't talk to you tomorrow, have a good weekend, have a good Easter If I do talk to you tomorrow, I'll talk to you tomorrow Oh, Kevin, Cindy and I will be up on Sunday and Monday I don't know if you guys are going to be in the area or not But maybe if you are on Monday before we take off to come back down to Springfield Maybe we could swing by and see the house and whatnot Since we have yet to do that. Of course, we haven't uploaded that often, but anyways, give me an email or call or something like that And we'll talk about it. We will see you guys all later
