Dalenn - Ascension [preview]

Dalenn continues to expand his legacy as a seasoned Drum & Bass producer, revealing a different side of his craft. Rather than leaning on growling basslines and cold, industrial force, he turns toward musical depth—layered arrangements, fluid rolling breaks, and rich melodic textures that replace menace with movement. Ascension and All Of You venture into territory Dalenn rarely explores, yet the result feels natural—an artist drawing from a wide and deeply rooted musical journey. These tracks resonate beyond the dancefloor, carrying warmth and emotional weight that linger long after the final note. Blending the rolling breakbeat foundations of Jungle and early Drum & Bass with elements of Trance, Deep House, IDM/Glitch, and classical piano, this EP stretches the genre forward without abandoning its roots. It’s a bold evolution—thoughtful, expansive, and unmistakably Dalenn.
