Dalfie - A Face From Another Planet (Original Mix)

from Summer-ized Sessions Podcast · host Summer-ized Sessions

After a string of certified bangers, we felt it right to go deep 'n' dubby again, calling on Glasgow's very own Dalfie to bring his love of stripped-back 90's House & Techno to the season's groove, but still with very contemporary flavours that work in both the searing heat, and the cooling night air. With title track 'A Face From Another Planet' providing exactly that, with a tough beat and bassline that rolls on under a spaced-out vocal whose aesthetics reference mainstream Electronica. Going deeper [and dubbier] is follow-up Elysium, bringing a bold bassline to a more minimal vocal element, while still offering a driving energy that works both indoors and out. Ideal for the end of a warm-up, or the middle of a peak-time session, both tracks bring a generous warmth while still remaining tough enough to heat things up. Undoubtedly, this is the more spacious side of Tech House, essential to providing much-needed variance to any session, whilst keeping energy levels upfront. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spotify Release: 2nd July 2021 Beatport Release: 16th July 2021 General Release: 30th July 2021 Cat.
