Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Dan Brodie, veteran Melbourne, Australia singer-songwriter, joins Dan Time to talk about his long career and his latest record, The Ballad of Cowboy Dan! Dan has released eight studio records and three EPs over a recording career that spans a quarter century. While his sound most closely belongs in the alt-country or Americana genres (Brodie has been compared to the likes of Mellencamp, Dylan, Elvis & Steve Earle, among others), there is only one Dan Brodie. The Ballad of Cowboy Dan focuses on the mythical Cowboy Dan character. It delivers both sonically and lyrically, features Brodie’s signature wit and it takes the listener on a carousel ride.
