Born in Pampa in 1956, he married Nancy Jo in 1982 and raised four children—Jen, Renee, Jed, and Angie—before her passing in 2003. He cherished family time at their Colorado retreat, “The Place,” and found joy in westerns, hunting, antiques, and gardening.
