This week on the Nerd we talk to Dan Fetes, the Sports Anchor/Reporter at 13WHAM, who covers the #BillsMafia.Our featured charity this week is Miracle Feet: an organization tackling clubfoot (or talipes equinovarus) - the treatable birth defect, that causes one or both feet to turn inwards and downwards. 200,000 babies are born with it every year, mostly in low- and middle-income countries where fewer than 15% have access to appropriate treatment. MiracleFeet is bringing the low-cost, nonsurgical standard of care, routinely provided in advanced health systems, to low-income countries. With MiracleFeet’s support, the care is free or extremely low-cost for the families who receive it.We talk about his background, having covered the Bill’s for many years, as well as his personal connection with Miracle Feet, our chosen charity for this episode.
